Writing Prompt Wednesday

Outside my window, a fresh layer of snow covers tree branches, flowerbeds,

the garden bench. Although beautiful, I'm ready for winter to depart. Last week, after

the slush melted, I spied daffodil tips and clumps of forget-me-nots around the base

of our baby plum tree. Change is coming.
