From the library calendar:


Linda K. Sienkiewicz will read from her recently published and much anticipated chapbook, Sleepwalker. It is a courageous and beautifully written book about her eldest child’s suicide. She has published four other poetry chapbooks, a novel In the Context of Love, and a children’s book, Gordy and the Ghost Crab. Her short stories and poems have appeared in numerous anthologies and journals. She received a poetry chapbook award from Heartlands Today.


Diana Dinverno will read from When Truth Comes Home To Roost, a 2022 Celery City Chapbook Contest winner. Her poems and short stories have appeared in The Gyroscope Review, The Westchester Review, The MacGuffin and other publications. She is a Pushcart Prize nominee, and the recipient of several awards, including the Michigan Poetry Society’s 2019 Margo LaGatutta Memorial Award.


Michelle E. Morouse is a Detroit area pediatrician, and poetry and fiction writer. She will read from her recent work. Her poetry and microfiction has appeared in Vestal Review, New Flash Fiction Review, Third Point Press and other journals. Michelle’s work is included in Best Microfiction 2022, which includes a piece titled, Left to their own devices, they became them. She serves on the board of Detroit Working Writers.
